New York State Road Work Information
- The NYSDOT has advised the Town of Chili that the NYSDOT bridge over Black Creek (James E. Widener Memorial Bridge) located on Chili – Scottsville Road (NY RTE 386) will be replaced in the summer/fall of 2024. There will be a detour posted. As more information becomes available this page will be updated.

Micro-Paving is a cost-effective and long-lasting remedy for worn pavement surfaces. It’s a quick-set, polymer-modified overlay that removes rutting, fills pavement cracks and provides a durable, uniform, and skid resistant wearing surface that extends the service life of the pavement. While impacts could be as brief as 90 minutes, the humidity can impact cure time which could delay setting for up to 4 hours so we ask residents to plan accordingly for this short-term inconvenience.

Signs have been or will be placed well in advance of the work to establish a pattern of not parking on the street. The day before the work the vendor will place door hangers on each street that will be impacted the following day. While we wish that we could give residents a better schedule, the vendor is subject to weather, equipment breakdowns and previously scheduled work that prevents more than a day’s notice.
